About me

English is a subject that gets a pretty bad rep. Its compulsory status in your top 4 subjects and the nature of textual & language analysis, can make it difficult for Year 12s (especially STEM-oriented ones) to enjoy.

But once you understand how to read texts, analyse pieces of evidence, create meaning and weave together an essay, it becomes much easier to find beauty in this subject. That's what drives my passion to tutor English, after all these years. Getting students to end up loving English has become something I now look forward to and expect at the end of their VCE journeys.

I received a 97 ATAR. I achieved raw study scores of 44 English, 45 Business Management, 44 History Revolutions, 43 Further/General Mathematics.

I've tutored over a hundred students for 700+ hours, which is what sharpened my ability to articulate things in a way that makes sense to Year 12s. No clunky jargon here - everything is written with your understanding in mind.

I have also done volunteer lectures with ASHALectures, BridgED and Mindstep. The audience feedback was highly positive, with BridgED's audience rating my lecture 10/10 on average.

My Argument Analysis workshop in 2023 was rated a 9.75/10 from the 223 attendees, and I received heaps of sweet messages from students regarding how helpful, informative, in-depth and logical my teaching style was.
